ISS contact via iPhone

Does anyone have any good information on getting an iPhone (for extreme portability) to successfully connect with the ISS?

I've seen a similar post regarding APRSDroid that has gone unanswered, so I'm not holding my breath for this post. However, it would be nice to know if anyone has managed to get this type of arrangement working.

Not all of us can quite afford to buy a new radio just for APRS/packet work, and shoveling money to fix every challenge is not exactly a "ham" methodology. So I'm trying to make due with what I have until I can afford better equipment.

Currently, I'm trying to use PocketPacket (software based TNC) connected to a handheld transceiver over an Arrow II yagi. I can successfully work APRS locally, and I've been able to decode received signals from NO-84 and the ISS, but I haven't been able to make a successful transmission. I know the digipeater must be ARISS, and I think my configs are correct.

Any suggestions and/or assistance is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
