SSTV event now tentatively planned for January 16th

Russian and American sources say plans are being made for an SSTV event on January 16th.

www.ariss.org has the following on their front page:

"SSTV Operations Coming Soon!
Planning is underway for a new series of SSTV transmissions from the ISS in celebration of the 15th anniversary of Amateur Radio operations on the ISS. Scheduling for the transmissions from the station in the Russian segment of the ISS on the weekend of January 16 is in process. This series of transmissions will use the PD120 format. Stay tuned for more details!"

A few days ago R4UAB said it was planned for January 15th

But now he updated to say it's going to be on the 16th, which fits with what ariss.org in the US is saying:

Some have pointed out that the spacewalk planned for January 15th/16th could change those plans since amateur radio equipment has to be turned off for spacewalks.

Re: SSTV January 16th

Hi,
According to International Space Station Calendar January 15/16, 2016 US EVA 35 – SSU Replacement (Kopra, Peake). http://spaceflight101.com/iss/iss-calendar

Normal operations during spacewalks amateur radio is switched off for safety reasons.

The spacewalk is scheduled to start at 12:55 GMT and last for six-and-a-half hours.

The Expedition 46 crew begins its first full week of the New Year planning for a spacewalk scheduled for Jan. 15.
A pair of spacewalkers will replace a failed voltage regulator to return power to one of eight power channels next Friday. Two crew members will exit the Quest airlock and work outside for 6.5 hours for the replacement work. They will also rig cables for the future installation of docking adapters that will enable commercial crew vehicles to dock at the International Space Station.

Latest tweet from Tim Peake.!! Final suit fit check prior to Friday's EVA – feels just great! https://twitter.com/astro_timpeake?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw

Looks like everything points that this will be done and completed on Friday. Lets hope SSTV can go ahead as planned on Sat 16th.
