Col. Mike Hopkins (NA1SS) - Kopernik Observatory & Science Center, Vestal, NY, USA, 1632 UTC on 30 October 2013

Col. Mike Hopkins (NA1SS) speaks to students at Kopernik Observatory & Science Center, Vestal, NY, USA, at 1632 UTC on 30 October 2013 via K2ZRO. Col. Hopkins answered the following questions in the recording:

1. What inspired you to become an astronaut?
2. How do the stars look from space? Are they brighter or do they look the same?
3. What do you love the most about being in space that you never expected?
4. While in space is it more stressful physically or mentally?

Col. Hopkins could obviously hear the ground station for several minutes before the ground station could hear him. APRS beacon on the ISS was apparently on, so there are some packets in the recording. I was unable to copy further questions due to local LOS.
