Yesterday I had the opportunity to listen to a pass of the ARISSAT-1 amateur radio satellite on 145.950 Mhz and a colleague was able to help make a video of the pass. ARISSAT-1 is a Hamsat that was released from the International Space Station on August 4th of last year and will soon be re-entering our atmosphere and will burn up on in the coming days.

When is the next scheduled time the ISS will be transmitting SSTV?

Why cant I operate the capcha feature and send reports. I dont seem to have any problem logging in. Tks de Gary ZL1KJ

Not heard anything from ARISSat-1 for several days now was wondering if it is still transmitting ?

J'ai eu la chance d'entendre mon CQ sur le downlink de Radioskaf-B juste avant que le séquenceur ne coupe la fonction transponder U/V pour passer à autre chose ..........
Au passage suivant du satellite en visibilité , la batterie donnait des signes de faiblesse ................ De profundis !
Ce n'est pas grave car Radioskaf-B n'est qu'un gadget sans grande application Radio Amateur , seulement bon pour " public relation "

I have noticed over the last couple of days that the signals from ARISSat-1 have become very poor and hardly discernible. Is there a reason for this. I'm afraid I can only listen in with my scanner and an external discone ariel which has always given me good results with the ISS.
