ISS packet/APRS repeater

The current up- and down-link for the packet radio/APRS repeater:

downlink: 145.800
uplink: 145.825

So one has to work "split", since the downlink has changed (for this moment). And for the APRS servers PSE set your downlink frequency to 145.800 [normally used for the voice repeater/SSTV] and upload your RF to the internet.

Temporary

I wouldn't go to too much trouble moving your IGATE frequencies. This configuration was obviously a mistake and since the radio is scheduled to be powered off tomorrow (May 29) in preparation for the Soyuz docking, the radio will hopefully be back to the proper configuration of 145.825 simplex when they get around to turning it back on.

I just put a new split frequency into my memory, so that I'm able to up and download. I guess all who managed to use the Packet/APRS repeater did (something) like that. If CT2HKY and I had not done that no station would have been uploaded to K4HG's server/page http://www.ariss.net/index.cgi?absolute=1 during passes over EU. And if KB1GVR-2 and KD8CAO-6 wouldn't have done that nobody would have been uploaded in the USofA...

So it's not a matter of 'too much trouble', but a 'necessity' in order to be able to use (and/or upload) the ISS Packet/APRS repeater.

We'll see what happens tomorrow. A memory channel is easily deleted when no longer in use ;-)
