Only Downlink Active?!

The last pass over EU (17:00 UTC) only the downlink on 145.825 was active. I tried as unproto ARISS and RS0ISS-4, but neither one worked. I tried 145.800 and 145.825 as uplink.

RS Comm desense

If the Russians are using VHF-1, that can block the uplink on the Kenwood due to desense of the receiver. The crew timeline indicated a three hour Russian activity and since that pass was over Russian ground sites, it very likely could have been used VHF-1 to talk to MCC-M and therefore blocked the amatuer uplink. We'll have to wait and see if it is still working when it is over other parts of the world or just downlinking. The radio appears to have been on 145.825 simplex over Argentina at 1146 GMT according to http://www.ariss.net/index.cgi?absolute=1

Downlink only

Doesn't look good. Not sure what is going but it seems that the radio either has gone totally deaf or the uplink frequency got changed by accident.

Uplink

I changed to several frequencies and did hear packet on .815 but think that was bleed over by someone trying to uplink close by. I never heard anything on .825

Uplink

I tried (beside 145.825) so far:

144.490 (uplink region 1)
145.200 (uplink region 2/3)
145.800 (repeater/SSTV downlink)

But with no succes. Any more frequency suggestions?

KQ4AZ seems to have had some results 10 hours ago:

Wrong uplink

It appears someone onboard changed the uplink by accident again. This is going to be a long 6 months. I hope to get it fixed tomorrow.

wrong uplink?

I tried 144.930 as mentioned on the Packet Radio Reports, but that did not work either. As you said some days ago: it seems to be deaf. Maybe the volume is down ;-)

uplink

The uplink must be 145.825 because some (WX) stations do get copied like KQ4AZ-1 yesterday. And today HK7CKM was copied:
20090520060403 : HK7CKM]WIDE3-2,RS0ISS-4*,qAR,YV5JUT-5:=0537.12N/07322.23WICerro Sote - Boyaca {UIV32N}

And it seems RS0ISS-3 is on too:
