Strange image (SSTV)
For the "strange image" that VE1WRG posted to http://www.amsat.org/amsat/ariss/SSTV/ . It appears you caught the ISS going into sunset/sunrise and there was enough light to reflect the VC-H1 camera lens in the window when it snapped the image.

Re: Strange image (SSTV)
My wife is convinced that that image has the reflection on the window from a face tilted at about 45 deg with the bright light almost wiping the rest of image un-noticable. However, the face does NOT look human!
Between you and me Kenneth, those "eyes" from the picture still hunt me. Hope I get chance to decode more "X-File" type images for us to see.

Re: strange image!
Hello Derk,
Kenneth is right, what you see is a reflection (on the window) of
the round lens of the kenwood VC-H1 SSTV camera unit.
Sinds we've been reviewing in the period of Richard Garriott his
mission we saw a lot of these images.
Also I have catched such image where you can see the
VC-H1 camera lens, and at that time the ISS was going into
the earth shadow.

I hope more people will send their received images from
current Expedition 18/19 to:
