Unproto Path for ISS
I'm not sure what's happening, I'm using RS0ISS-3 in my path, when I send my RF signal I received the signal back and my Ui-View program shows RS0ISS-3*, that means the ISS heard me right ??
Well, when I go to check in ariss.net my call is not there.
Can anybody tell me what happend please ??
Thanks, David XE1SDK

Unproto Path for ISS
Since you are digipeated it cannot be the (wrong) unproto path. Though as mentioned "ARISS" as unproto always works for the ISS (as well as for PCSat).
I think there was probaly nobody in your part of the world (central America) that uploaded the received APRS data to the internet, at least at that moment. So you can do that yourself ;-)
For UI-view you have to register and get a "validation number" in order to be able to upload the received APRS data to an APRS server. See: http://www.apritch.myby.co.uk/uiv32_uiview32.php?lang=english
When you have received a validation number you can enter that in "Setup/APRS Server Setup" and then choose "Action/Connect to APRS Server". GD LK.

TNX for you reply Marc,
I already have validation number for UI-View, I'm working with it since 3 years ago I think as IGate.
Anyway, thanks a lot for your help and keep in touch.

UNPROTO - ARISS
If you want to aviod changing your uproto path everytime the mode changes, use ARISS in your unproto path. It is an alias that is common to all modes.
