Hello John,
Yes all radios are off. I hope it will be turned on after the next school contact. Current crew is not intrested in amateur radio. That will chance with next crew.

When does the next crew go up?
I finally earned my ticket, and wanted my first QSO to be with the ISS. :( My first QSO was with a pilot at 10,000 feet, which was the right idea, but not quite as far up the Z axis as I wanted...
Hello KI6QYJ,
Next crew goes up in October, and with Mike Fincke you might have a good chance (I spoke him in 2004 a few times). It depence on your patience, being at the right time on the radio (its a matter of luck) and use a good antenna. In the past I have spoke a few ham pilots on 14Mhz. I gues you also spoke with NQ4I/AM (Rick).

At this point, it appears that only the packet digi on 145.825 simplex will be active for Field Day.
