Greetings,
Wondering what the latest news is on SuitSat2 and a listing of modes that will be worked from the SAT.

Not much change since the report released last year (see http://www.issfanclub.com/node/6933 ). It is still planned to have a linear transponder (SSB), CW beacon and FM downlink with voice messages and data with plans for it to operate for the entire time it is on orbit.

The deployment date will likely be 2009 as it must occur during a Russian EVA and that timeframe is next EVA that the hardware will be ready by.

ARISS is scheduled to have a meeting in Moscow during July 2008 and firmer details should be available after that time.
