Heard several successful contacts via crossband repeater on ISS with several stations. 1815 local time Houston.
WF1F has all the info and how to work the ISS crossband repeater on QRZ. http://forums.qrz.com/showthread.php?t=152095 .Reading this may help with all the QRM that was going on last few times it's been on. Thanks WF1F for your time and effort.

Loud and clear on the downlink at 18.59 in Cornwall, SW UK, using colinear on receive, but cant access the repeater on 70cm with it, I think a beam is required!
Hi!
I heard that pass (1815 Houston time, 0015 UTC) with my VX-3R HT and a stubby duckie from DM43al. I tried to get through, using an IC-T7H at 5W and a telescoping whip, but had no luck. On the later pass at 0150 UTC, I had my IC-2720H mobile radio and handheld Yagi at DM33xp/DM43ap, and was able to work 5 stations (K7WIN, VE6EGN, VE4NSA, WC9C, and KD4NOQ) as the station passed by.
Looking forward to making a few more contacts through the ISS repeater this weekend...

G'day to All
Amateur Satellites over Australia are normally quiet affair, with only a few stations working a pass. The ISS cross band repeater has drawn considerable attention across the country, with 10 to 20 odd stations working a pass.
This is twice what AO-51 would get, and the ISS passes are shorter in time.

Just made my first attempt to hear the ISS. Heard the downlink at 145.8 loud and clear at 0531 UTC with elevation of just 6 degrees. Heard KD8CAO, N2NRJ, KA1KA and several partial calls in a span of about 3 minutes. Antenna is a horizontally polarized 2M9SSB 2m yagi. Tried transmitting but no success, guess I'll need a 70cm beam to accomplish that. 73, Bill NZ5N
Spent the morning building a little 6 1/2" ground plane for 70cm, then this afternoon at 2155 UTC had my first completed contacts with the ISS: N8DDK in FM05 and K5AXW in EM10. Also heard N3CRT and N2OEQ. Fun! 73, Bill NZ5N
I made 3 contacts using just a D7 at 5 Watts and ANLI AL-800 vertical antenna on top. Thanks K7WIN, N5TD and N5WD.

Whats the input freq for this crossband repeat mode ther in now?
Uplink is 437.800 MHz with plus to minus 10 KHz for Doppler. Other operational frequencies are listed in the link below or on this website at http://www.issfanclub.com/frequencies
I have been working the ISS and I start with minus to plus for Doppler. Start at 437.790 and finish at about 437.810 on the uplink. I looked at my Computer tracking and control program and it say's the same thing. Hope it on back soon. I made several contacts one with xe3iss at a 10 deg el from FM-19 @ 10 watts. Lot's of fun. Take care all 73's Karl de w3afe
