ISS Packet Freq

KD4MZM – September 30, 2007 – 21:27

Hello All,
What is the current packet Freq that the ISS is on? I've seen two posted, one being 145.825 and the one last time I used packet on the ISS as 145.800. Also is the up freq still 145.990 or is it new as being posted at 145.825 up and down? Looking for the current config that they are using.
Thanks...Eric...KD4MZM...

VHF capable scanner

N5VHO – September 15, 2007 – 13:18

Many police scanners (or VHF scanners) can listen to the ISS by using 145.800 MHz for listen to voice transmissions (usually during school contacts) and 145.825 MHz for listening to the packet beacon and other digital traffic.
