Dear Alain & ISS Fan Club Members,

Since about 1992 the International Space Agency (ISA) has been asking the Member Nations of ISS to set up an Official Global International Space Station (ISS) Website?

We have suggested domains:
http://www.iss.gov
-or-
http://www.iss.int

This website would act as the neutral core and central reference point for all Member Nations to redirect ISS General Public and Media related internet traffic. This would allow all ISS public information globally to be directed to "ONE" neutrally managed ISS website. All ISS crew media interviews and video of ISS operations and launches to ISS could also be centrally presented on this central ISS Website.

The ISA Organization has offered since 1992 to act as the neutral organization to achieve this goal.

We suggested that each Member Nation of ISS contribute (1) One professional website/internet professional, (1) One official translator to allow the Official ISS Website to be presented in English as the main core language and also presented in the language of each Member Nation of ISS, (1) One official government reporter/media contact, and (1) One official government contact in each ISS Member Nations National Space Agency to allow for ISS Member Nation oversight and input into the Official ISS Website.

We also suggested that a central building and physical location for the administration of these jointly contributed and combined Official ISS Website personnel and information resources, which would also be jointly established and funded.

We also suggested that this new Official ISS Website Team / Office, could also be very easily used in a "DUAL ROLE" as the Official Global Public Relations Office for the ISS Endeavor and Operations. This with little if NO extra cost involved, as the Official ISS Website Staff could be selected to allow for Public Relations as part of their duties.

All the ISS Member Nations National Space Agencies have received this suggestion and offer by the International Space Agency (ISA) Organization many times since 1992 in both Writing and in Person.

This ISA request and suggestion has not only been totally ignored, but sadly it has also been undermined and even censored!? National ego and pride has been a real problem!

Presently, each Member Nation has its own ISS Websites as part of those Nations National Space Agencies.

The problem with this is that ISS Information is being controlled in each Nation for National Politics and Agendas. Also, because these National Space Agencies are Government, the General Public has limited access to information about ISS Operations. The global media also has problems, because information about ISS is disorganized and caught up in government bureaucracy over the numerous governments of the ISS Member Nations.

This genuine and beneficial suggestion and offer that the International Space Agency (ISA) Organization has put forward since 1992, in regards to the establishment of an Official Global ISS Website and Public Relations & Media Office, is worthy of support and consideration.

We are curious if the Members and Supporters of the ISS Fan Club agree with this ISA suggestion and proposal, to establish an Official Global International Space Station (ISS) Website and Public Relations & Media Office?
