What Powers The ISS Orbit?

Ganymedes – December 1, 2006 – 21:19

I realise that objects orbit the Earth by falling around the Earth. But what is it that is pushing the ISS to keep it falling around the Earth?
Does it propel itself forward?
What are the engines and how much fuel do they consume?
Anyone got any reliable information?

Does this help?

In addition to the ISS engines, the Progress and Shuttle engines are used to reboost the orbit of ISS periodically. Fuel is brought up with both of those vehicles and some is transferred to ISS when needed.
