ISS with tailing Atlantis visable

Hi,
Just had excellent view at 17:06 utc of ISS with Atlantis following closely behind.

My guestimate would put Atlantis about 10 miles behind ISS and Atlantis about 25% the brightness of ISS.

Good luck spotting.

are you sure ... i thought atlantis is still docked to the iss and will return to earth on wednesday!?

Atlantis deorbits on Wednesday

Atlantis has already undocked from the ISS. It'll fire its deorbiting maneuver on Wed and reenter the atmosphere.

Anybody see all 3 at the same time?

Shuttle, Soyuz and ISS will be in close proximity prior to 0500 UTC on Sept 20. Sombody in Northern Africa might see all three early in the morning.

I have seen ISS + Atlantis

My Observer's Location: Santa Maria ( 29.6830°S, 53.8000°W) - South Brazil

At september 18, 19:02 local time (22:02 UTC) i have seen the ISS + Atlantis just behind.
It was wonderful, two lights crossing the sky, one behind the other. So clear, that my 3 years old son understand what's going on.

So, I confirm what Keith saw.
