Great idea.... I too (KD8DQ) think I made contact with Bill. I heard him say my call sign, he copied state of Florida. Requested a QSL, which I did, but heard noise in the static for his reply.... so ???
If your still not sure if your radio is set correctly, let me know through email and I'll send you the settings that I have for my radio (Kenwood TH-D700 mobile).
I too wish there was. I made my very first voice QSO last year but was driving and unable to pull over and log the details. I woul dlike a qsl for the contact but without the information I will have to do it all over again I guess.
I would try the ARRL, I think they get a listing of the stations logs/activities. I worked Bill on simplex few years back sent in a card to the league for the contact, and received a card back from NA1SS. so they might have a list to go by? Its worth a try!. 73 gud dx De Ellis WA1RKS.
I have attempted to contact RAC and ARRL to see if they have a log of the contacts Cdr. Wheelock and other shave made to verify a qso a made. But so far no one is able to help. I will have to wait until they once again resume voice comms and see if I can do it over again. Hard to write information down when you are driving these narrow and windy Northern Ontario roads.

this forum is about the closest you will probably find to logging of contacts with ISS, voice contacts that is.
