HELLO,EVERYBODY I WANT QSO with ISS OR AO-51 OR VO-52,WHO CAN HELP ME !
Get a sat tracking program, Satscape, sts plus, nova, ect... when ISS is near tune to the downlink freq of 145.800 and listen, if you hear voice tune transmit to 144.490 and throw out your call and hope you get a reply. Allow for doppler shift, on recieve as the ISS is nearing you tune 5 high to 145.805, as the ISS is over you be on center freq 145.800, as the ISS is going away from you be 5 low, 145.795, its just the opposite on transmit, you want to be low as ISS approaches so tune to 144.485, as ISS is overhead tune to 144.490 and as ISS goes away from you tune to 144.495. This with 2m, on UHF the doppler is more noticable so it would be 10 high, low.... ect. Same with AO51 and other sats just different freqs. Satscape is what I use and it lists the proper freqs, I'm sure the others do as well. Hopes this explains how... Good luck! John - KG6POM - Sacramento, CA
