QSO Information Exchange

If I am lucky enough to get a random voice contact with ISS, what does protocol dictate I should exchange with the operator there - name, location, grid-square or what? I don't want to hog the frequency with unnecessary info in order to give others a chance.

Sometimes it is more of a conversation and an extra question or two will be asked. I heard, "What is your location?" where the repeated answer was a rough geographic one instead of something like a gridsquare. I hear a lot of phonetic responses with "loud and clear aboard the International Space Station" so maybe say phonetic callsign and just leave it at that to see where things go. But, most satellite voice contacts are the classic callsign gridsquare combo so that should work just fine as any sort of 'formality.'

Nice that you are being considerate and wish to keep the time on the air short for the benefit of others.
