Add Tonga and Sao Tome both

Anonymous – February 26, 2006 – 19:30

After enliisting A35RK and seeing his successful efforts, now can happily add that as of about 15:25Z today 26/2/06, Charles, S9SS, had a good QSO with Bill. Charles made it with 2 watts from an HT and a hastily made hand-held yagi. A great job in the best tradition of Amateur radio!

Am hoping a couple more friends I have also enlisted will soon be giving NA1SS 2 or 3 more new ones.

Great job Bill, and congrats to all the many helpers on the side and to the Amateurs making these QSOs possible.

116?

Anonymous – March 4, 2006 – 23:10

Thanks to one 'Very Helpful Operator', and 5 or 6 other hams in needed countries,
I know A35RK, S9SS, S9YL, CN2US, and KH0AC are now among the 'worked' list.
KH0 might be #116.
Two more hopefully Sunday.
Go, Bill!

Congrats to all, and thanks to those that helped!

and one more...

WD9EWK – March 6, 2006 – 04:38

Add the South Cook Islands to the list. Victor ZK1CG e-mailed me, saying he finally got through and had a 5-minute QSO with Bill. Victor used both of his calls, ZK1CG and ZK1USA, in QSOs with NA1SS. Time may be short, but Victor says he will try to recruit a few others on Pacific islands to make QSOs before Bill leaves the station.

Add Tonga (A3) to the list

WD9EWK – February 25, 2006 – 19:34

Paul A35RK e-mailed me this morning, reporting that he had a 5-minute contact with Bill today (25 February 2006) at 1723 UTC. Signals were virtually full-quieting for the entire pass, and peaking at S-7 on his old Kenwood mobile radio. Paul used 50W into a groundplane antenna to make the QSO.

SV Greece why not confirmed ?

sv2kbs – February 12, 2007 – 13:03

Hi to all !

I am Victoria SV2KBS, and I am posting this comment since I would like to clarify the following:
Had established a contact with Bill McArthrur on 25/02/2006 I sent my QSL card to the European Manager F1MOJ some months afterwards in order to confirm the voice contact I had with Bill and indeed, I received the NA1SS card short time after.
Therefore there should be a SV contact confirmed - Please check this out, thanks !

The card probably has not made it from the European Bureau to me yet. Once it arrives, I'll mark it off the list.

The EA station QSL... Is it my QSL?

eb4deh – February 28, 2007 – 00:32

Hi dear Kenneth:

Just to know if the QSL you have received from Spain is mine.
