Description:
Aloha from Hawaii! At 14.22.27 UTC (4.22.27 A.M Hawaiian Standard Time) 3 way communications between AH6RH, KH6CPU, and myself (WH7QR) commenced in earnest via the ISS repeater. Due to the early morning hour, repeater was free of additional contact attempts so some "chatting" was done. AH6RH and myself are on the island of Oahu, while KH6CPU is on the island of Lanai. KH6CPU reports full 2 way contact with the Oahu stations at 14.24.00 UTC (peak ISS elevation for this pass). Congatulations to KH6CPU for first full two-way, and much thanks to AH6RH, the Pied Piper of space communications in Hawaii.

Description:
Good contact with WH7QR Curtis and KH6CPU Cedric on a 55 degree descending pass east of Honolulu. First two-way contact with Cedric, the only ham on Lanai! Rig is a Kenwood TM-D700 dual-band mobile in a car, with 1/4 wave antennas for VHF and UHF. Doppler compensation on both TX and RX, 5 kHz tuning steps for the VFO yields long and good passtimes.
