Station and Shuttle Crews Begin New Day
PY4MAB – March 21, 2008 – 20:38

The 10 astronauts aboard the orbiting complex formed by space shuttle Endeavour and the International Space Station have awakened and are, once again, hard at work.
The STS-123 crew will perform a final inspection of Endeavour’s heat shield using the shuttle’s robot arm and the Orbiter Boom Sensor System (OBSS). Commander Dominic Gorie, Pilot Gregory H. Johnson, and Mission Specialist Takao Doi will survey the orbiter’s wings and nose cap to ensure that no damage has occurred to the tiles that protect Endeavour from the heat of reentry.
